Acting Director General of NDSL “Okhmatdyt,” Oleksandr Urin, presented our hospital during the official working visit of the Ukrainian delegation, led by Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko, to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Okhmatdyt signed a memorandum of cooperation with the K. Y. Farajova Research Institute of Pediatrics — Azerbaijan’s leading pediatric institution, combining clinical practice, research, and education.
The agreement opens opportunities for joint research, academic exchanges, professional development of medical specialists, implementation of scientific projects, and advancement of modern fields in pediatrics, neonatology, intensive care, and pediatric surgery.
The Ukrainian delegation had the opportunity to tour the Institute and gain an inside view of one of Azerbaijan’s oldest and most respected pediatric centers.
This collaboration represents not only professional exchange but also an important step in strengthening ties between countries that deeply value freedom, independence, and the advancement of medicine in challenging times.
Okhmatdyt continues to expand its international partnerships to implement the best practices in pediatric medicine and provide children with care of the highest standard.
