4-річний хлопчик повертався додому зі своїм батьком, коли почався ворожий обстріл одного з районів Києва. Російський снаряд влучив на подвір‘я, син і батько отримали осколкові поранення. Із важкою мінно-вибуховою раною поперекової ділянки дитину доставили в Охматдит.

У лікарні хлопчику провели усю необхідну діагностику та виконали хірургічне втручання. Спеціалісти Охматдиту провели обробку рваної рани та висічення нежиттєздатних тканин. У дитини діагностували важкий забій нирки. На щастя, спинний мозок та інші внутрішні органи не постраждали. Зараз загрози життю пацієнта не має, втім ця травма є дуже небезпечною. На дитину чекає довге лікування в Охматдиті.

A 4-year-old boy was returning home with his father when Russian soldiers fired missiles at one of the districts in Kyiv. A missile hit the yard of the house, and the boy and his father received shrapnel wounds. The child, whose lower back was severely injured from the blast, was taken to Ohmatdyt.

The boy underwent all the necessary scanning procedures and had surgery at the hospital. Ohmatdyt doctors treated the shrapnel wound and removed the non-viable tissues. The child was diagnosed with severe kidney disease. Fortunately, the spinal cord and other internal organs were not affected. Currently, the patient’s life is not in danger, but his injury is very dangerous. The boy will be going through the long healing process under the supervision of Ohmatdyt’s doctors.
